This newly renovated two storey spacious beachside villa located in fashionable Sabadeco has private beach access down to Andrea I and II, some of the best snorkel and dive sites on Bonaire.  The landscaped garden and long driveway leads to a grand staircase taking you up to a stunning upper floor.  This includes a living room, huge outdoor terrace with unforgettable views across the water and gourmet kitchen.  The luxurious master bedroom on the upper floor offers a super-king sized bed, dressing room, couple’s bathroom and an adjoining twin room, all with ocean views. 

Below decks on the ground floor guests will find four guest suites, all with their separate en suite bathroom facilities.  Three suites offer a double bed, whilst the other has separate twin beds.  A new open plan kitchen with American style fridge-freezer leads into an expansive living room, framed with floor to ceiling windows and patio doors opening onto the pool, which is a wonderful space for entertaining. 

 Enjoy watching the breath-taking sunsets from your bar stool in the pool and eat al fresco using the gas grill on the new sparkling ceramic tiled pool deck.

 All bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning as well as the living room and kitchen area and wifi is available throughout.

Beachcroft attracts several repeat guests annually, “I have been to Bonaire over 30 times in the past 20 years and this is one of the nicest properties on the island.  Kittie, the Property Manager, was very easy to work with providing great customer service and made us feel at home.  The ocean views from either the upper level balcony or the pool were outstanding.  The kitchen is large with nice appliances.  The bedrooms are all a good size.  My group loved Beachcroft, we will be returning along with 4 other couples for New Years, Beachcroft will be excellent for our party”.

First and foremost, dealing with Kittie at SunBelt Realty was a wonderful experience. Kittie was always prompt in responding to any questions we had prior to booking, after we booked the rental and while we were staying at the villa. We would definitely rent from her again. Thank you Kittie for all of the assistance you gave us for our Bonaire vacation.

Crown Keys 13 was a wonderful layout for our family of 6. We spent almost 2 weeks at this villa celebrating our 20th anniversary. (We were married on the island!) We are a mom & dad, 2 teenagers ages 15 & 18, and mid 30’s step-son and his wife. The ground floor has 4 bedrooms, each with their own full bathroom. Also there is a dining area, a living area, a small full kitchen, and several glass sliding doors that open up out to the pool and ocean. All of the kids enjoyed having their own “living space.” There is one hair dryer in the villa.

The top floor includes a full kitchen, a living area, 2 open patio eating areas, a 1/2 bath, the master bedroom/bathroom and a “veranda” with 2 twin beds off the master bedroom. There is ample closet and dresser space in each bedroom, except the room with the 2 twin beds. You will find more than enough hangers in the closets also. A safe is available for your valuables.

There is air conditioning in each bedroom and in the kitchen. While there is always a nice breeze coming through the villa, we learned to close up at dusk and use the air conditioners. The mosquitoes and no-see-ums take over at dusk. This is very common in many places on the island. Be prepared to keep them out and have bug spray and/or dryer sheets to protect yourselves from them.

The kitchen is adequately supplied with most everything you need to cook meals, however, when we were there, the oven in the main kitchen wasn’t working. Thankfully, there is an oven in the downstairs kitchen that we used. The dishwasher in the main kitchen is new, it was installed while we were there. There is a dishwasher in the downstairs kitchen, but we did not use it.

The big screen TV is also new, as it was installed while we were there, however, we never used it during our stay! There is a DVD player and a small library of DVD’s. There is a variety of books in the living room.

There is a gas grill on the patio, close to the downstairs kitchen. It is hard wired to the big propane tanks that fuel the villa. We used the grill and it worked fine.

For divers/snorkelers, there are 2 small rinse tubs outside to rinse your gear. There’s a hose to fill the tubs and an outside shower faucet to accommodate rinsing off any saltwater. There is a drying rack for your gear.

The property is nicely landscaped with plants of the region. There are pomegranate bushes at the base of the staircase that leads to the villa. They were full of fruit and I was hoping some would ripen while we were there so we could partake, but no such luck. The entry to the villa from the driveway is very nice, somewhat of a grand staircase. There is a fence around the property and a gate out at the road. Keep the gate closed so no donkeys wander in as visitors!

Dive sites Andrea I and Andrea II are literally right at the property. You’ll need to determine the best entry points for your level of experience. Boats, sailboats, catamaran’s, etc visited these sites almost daily and it was fun sitting on the bar stools in the pool looking out over the ocean watching the activity. The pool is very nice and there are lots of lounge chairs surrounding the pool.

There is a washing machine, but no dryer. Not having a dryer wasn’t an issue. Just hang your clothes on the drying rack and they will be dry in a few short hours.

All linens are supplied along with beach towels. There is a small supply of most essentials to get you started, such as kitchen soaps, paper towels, trash bags, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. But you will need to get more during your stay.

There is wi-fi in the villa, but it doesn’t work across the entire property. Through trial and error, we found the best places to receive wi-fi. There is a landline phone for making/receiving local calls.

The villa is in pretty good shape, but could use some small maintenance work. Such as not all windows operated properly to take advantage of the island breeze. It looked like there are new windows and doors that have been delivered to the villa and it appears the owner is going to have them installed. This will be a nice improvement to the villa.

All in all, we were very pleased with our choice of Crown Keys 13 for our Bonaire vacation. Kittie at Sunbelt was very easy to work with. The villa fit our needs very nicely. The location was central to our activities. We always felt safe at the villa. Bird watching was abundant, and geckos and iguanas were fun to watch. I hope this review gives you a glimpse into our experience.

We had a great time, we would stay in the villa again, and we would certainly work with Kittie at Sunbelt Realty on future Bonaire vacations.
